Algebra I Contact: Dr. Terry Parks, (810) 455-4008 Find an assortment of assessment items and worksheet ideas for each of the Algebra I HSCE listed. They were put together by teachers from St. Clair County RESA middle and high schools for others to use as they wish. These materials are not a polished set. They are based upon the teachers' opinion of the content of the HSCE to which they are coded. The teachers who prepared these items did not include answers.

They may be helpful to you as you study your school's MEAP results. You will find that they answer questions and offer ideas as to how and why students selected answers to MEAP items. Feel free to share these links. Please remember that Fall 2005 MEAP testing assessed students on the PREVIOUS year's GLCEs (EX: Grade 4 MEAP assessed students on Grade 3 GLCEs).

MMLA Mathematics Assessment Generator This Web site is dedicated to helping teachers prepare customized assessments aligned with Michigan Standards and Benchmarks and the accociated GLCEs. St. Clair RESA Middle School Math PROM/SE CurriculumPROM/SE is a comprehensive research and development effort to improve mathematics and science teaching and learning in grades K–16. The partnership's name is its goal: Promoting Rigorous Outcomes in Mathematics and Science Education. Our aim is to create a powerful new approach to improving mathematics and science achievement for all students. PROM/SE is designed to help teachers and students meet new state and federal accountability standards while working with and within each schools particular situation.

Mega-Mathematics - The MegaMath project is intended to bring unusual and important mathematical ideas to elementary school classrooms so that young people and their teachers can think about them together. National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (“Illuminations”) - Based on the new NCTM Principles and Standards for School Mathematics, this site provides lessons and resources to improve the teaching and learning of math. Lessons and activities, including interactive learning games, are sorted by grade level. Visual Calculus - A collection of modules that can be used in the study or teaching of calculus.
